A collective effort incorporating the talents of Pennsylvania College of Technology students, staff and faculty, as well as expertise and services from regional companies, is preparing the school to host Baja SAE Williamsport, May 16-19. The renowned international competition will feature 108 collegiate teams and approximately 1,000 participants, representing 34 states, Brazil and Canada.

Britni E. Mohney Val A. Myers Two Pennsylvania College of Technology employees – Britni E. Mohney, assistant director of athletics/head women's basketball coach, and Val A. Myers, dean of nursing and health sciences – were among the honorees at Thursday's 14th annual “Women of Excellence Celebration” sponsored by YWCA Northcentral PA.

Jennifer R. Wahl, a social sciences instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be the keynote speaker at Thursday's 14th annual "Women of Excellence Celebration" sponsored by YWCA Northcentral PA. In a change of format over previous years, the event – scheduled from 6-9 p.m. at Farrington Place, 416 W. Third St.

When Laney E. Heller graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology on Dec. 18, the 20-year-old added baking and pastry arts graduate to a growing list of achievements that already includes 10-year cancer survivor and tireless fundraiser for children with cancer through the Delaney Heller Foundation.

Allison A. Bressler Grove, director of student engagement at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was inducted this month into the YWCA Northcentral Pennsylvania’s Women of Excellence program. "I am honored to work and be a part of such a supportive community that includes so many role models before me," she said.
